Apps & marketplace
Extend your store with payment gateways, shipping carriers and sales-channel connectors, installable in one click from the marketplace.
The Brainerce marketplace connects your store to outside services. Open Apps in the sidebar to browse and install them.
Types of apps
Three category tabs appear on the Apps page today, because those are the only categories with anything in them:
| Tab | What you can install today |
|---|---|
| Payment Gateways | Stripe, Cardcom, Grow, Morning (Green Invoice), Sola Payments, Takbull; which ones suit you depends on your country |
| Shipping | Shippo, EasyPost. Connect your own account with them; they bill you directly, not through Brainerce |
| E-commerce Platforms | Google (product feed, Google Ads, GA4) and the Migration Tool (a one-time import from Shopify or WooCommerce) |
That is the whole list of marketplace apps. Shopify, WooCommerce, TikTok, Meta and PayPal apps are not in the marketplace, so if you came here looking for one of those, it is not that you cannot find it: it is not there. Shopify and WooCommerce exist only inside the Migration Tool, as one-time read-only import sources; see Import from another platform.
MAX (מקס) and iCredit (ריווחית) are not in the Payment Gateways tab either. Both are still in draft, so they do not appear in the marketplace and cannot be installed, whatever your plan. iCredit is the card gateway run by Rivhit; if you are looking for it because of its automatic חשבונית, see Configure payment methods for what to use instead today.
Connecting a system that has no app (an ERP, a warehouse, an internal tool)
There is no screen in Brainerce where you paste an external system's address and credentials and have us sync it for you. If you are looking for that, it does not exist, and nothing on the Apps page will do it.
What you do instead is connect from your side, and it is a developer task, not a settings task:
- Create an API key in the dashboard, under Settings. That key can read and write your products, orders, inventory and customers.
- Register a webhook so Brainerce notifies your system the moment an order comes in, stock changes, or a product is updated, instead of your system polling us.
- Your system (or a small service between it and us) calls our API with that key when it needs to push or pull.
This is more work than clicking a button, and it needs someone who can write code. The upside is that it fits any system, however unusual, and your credentials stay on your side rather than being stored with us.
Your developer will find the full reference at brainerce.com/docs.
New categories appear in the marketplace over time, so browse by category on the Apps page to see what is available for your store today.
Installing an app
- Go to Apps in the sidebar.
- Browse or search for the app you want.
- Click Install.
- Follow the app's setup flow, usually entering an API key or completing an OAuth connection.
- The app is now active. Depending on the app, it may add new sections to your sidebar or start syncing data automatically.
Uninstalling an app
Open the installed app from the Apps sub-menu in the sidebar and click Uninstall. This removes the app's configuration and connected accounts (you'll be asked to confirm).
What survives: your orders, products, customers, checkouts and payment records all stay exactly where they are. Uninstalling a payment app does not erase the payments it took.
What is deleted with the app, and does not come back if you reinstall:
- Saved customer payment methods. Uninstalling a payment gateway destroys every card your customers had saved through it. Returning customers will have to enter their card again, and any flow that relied on charging a saved card stops working. There is no export and no undo.
- The link between your products and the outside platform. Connectors keep a map of "this Brainerce product is that item in Google Merchant Center". That map is deleted too, so if you reinstall, the connector no longer recognises what it already pushed and can create a second copy of your whole catalog on the far platform. Remove the old items over there before you reconnect, or, for Google, reconnect and use Catalog health → Check catalog to remove the duplicates afterwards (see below).
If you only want to stop the app for a while, use Suspend instead of Uninstall. It pauses the app and keeps all of the above.
Why my products are not showing on Google
Your products can be perfectly set up in Brainerce, push to Google without a single error, and still appear nowhere. When that happens the cause is almost always the Merchant Center account, not the products, and no product-by-product report can show it to you.
Open the Google app, go to Merchant Center, and run Run check under "Why your products are not showing". It asks Google six account-level questions in one go and gives you a checklist. Each line says what is wrong and, where we can fix it for you, gives you the button.
What it catches:
- Free listings are switched off. This is the single switch for showing up in the free Shopping results. With it off, every product can be approved and still show nowhere. It is turned on in Merchant Center, not in Brainerce.
- Google created a second product feed on your account. Merchant Center sometimes builds its own feed by crawling your website. We never write to it. The check tells you which feed we push to, so a second one in the list is not a sign that something is broken.
- Duplicate copies of your products. If your feed's language or country changed at some point, Google holds an old copy of every product alongside the new one. The check counts them and links straight to the cleanup.
- Local listings switched on with no store inventory. This one costs you nothing visible and quietly limits your whole catalog: Google marks products as "limited" because it expects physical-store stock that was never set up. Switching it off removes the limit and does not reduce anywhere your products already show. The check offers to switch it off for you.
- Products Google is limiting or rejecting, grouped by cause rather than listed one at a time. "Five products are missing a price" is the answer; five separate rows are the raw material for it.
- Your store language and your Google feed language disagreeing. Nothing breaks today, because we push in the feed's language. It matters because reconnecting later can create a second feed, which is what puts duplicate copies of everything on Google in the first place.
What the check does not do: it never changes anything on its own. The only action that writes to your Google account is switching off local listings, and that asks you to confirm first. It also cannot turn a program on for you: free listings and Shopping ads are switched on inside Merchant Center.
Free listings and paid ads are two different things. Getting free listings working puts your products in the organic Shopping results. Paid placement additionally needs Shopping ads switched on and a linked Google Ads account. One does not follow from the other.
If a check could not be read, the checklist says so instead of leaving the line out. A result you cannot see is not the same as a result that is fine.
"Sync finished" does not yet mean "on Google"
When a sync finishes, the app tells you two different numbers, and the difference between them is the whole point.
Google accepted N offers means Google took the products we sent. It is a receipt for the delivery, not a confirmation that anything is on Google. Google checks the products afterwards, on its own time, and it can quietly drop a product at that stage without ever telling us at the moment we sent it.
N confirmed published is the number that counts. A separate check runs a minute or two after every sync and asks Google which of those products actually made it into your catalogue.
So immediately after a sync you will normally see "Google accepted 217 offers" with a line underneath saying it is not yet confirmed. That is the expected state, not a problem. Refresh the page a few minutes later and it should turn into a confirmed count.
If the confirmed number stays well below the accepted number, Google is taking your products and then rejecting them during its own checks. The app lists which ones. Run Run check under "Why your products are not showing". The reason is almost always account-level, and that check names it.
Why this is shown at all: a sync that reported success while nothing reached Google is exactly how a store can sit with a frozen catalogue for weeks without anyone noticing. "Accepted" alone looked like success, and it is not.
Duplicate products on Google (Merchant Center)
If Google Merchant Center shows two copies of the same product, usually after reinstalling the connector or after the feed's language or country setting changed, the old copies can no longer be updated: they keep the price and stock they had on the day the settings changed, and Google penalises duplicate listings.
The Google app can find and remove these safely. Open the app's Catalog health section and run Check catalog: duplicates from an old feed setup are listed separately from stale items, and Remove duplicates deletes only old copies whose current listing is already live; your products and their current listings are never touched. An old copy that has no live replacement yet is left alone: run Sync now first, then check again.
Removing a duplicate can take a few minutes to show up in Merchant Center, so run the check again later to confirm it's gone.
Catalog health: the four report panels
Beyond the one-time Run check, the Merchant Center tab keeps four read-only report panels visible so you can check in on your account any time, not just when something looks wrong. All four are read-only: nothing on your Google account changes just by looking at them.
- Account issues. A red banner listing any account-level problems Google is currently flagging: the same checks the preflight tool runs, kept visible here too so a new issue doesn't wait for you to run a manual check.
- Free listings. Shows whether the free-listings program itself is switched on for your account, eligible but not yet enabled, or not eligible (and why). This is the single on/off switch behind organic Shopping visibility; see Why my products are not showing on Google above.
- Automatic image improvements and Automatic item updates. Two on/off status rows showing whether Google's own automatic optimizations are active on your feed. These are Google-side settings changed in Merchant Center, not in Brainerce; the panel only reports their current state.
- Free-listing performance. Top products by clicks from free (organic) Shopping listings only over a date range you choose (7, 30, or 90 days). This is explicitly not paid Ads traffic. If you also run paid campaigns, see Run Google Ads campaigns for that performance data instead.
