Quick actions in the BOBO chat

Type a slash in the BOBO chat box to pick a ready-made request, such as a weekly summary, a low-stock alert or a shipping check.

You do not have to write every request from scratch. Type a slash (/) in the BOBO chat box, or click the small / button next to the paperclip, and a short list of ready-made requests appears.

How do I use a quick action?

  1. Click the chat box and type /.
  2. Keep typing to narrow the list, for example /pri shows the pricing request, or use the arrow keys to move.
  3. Press Enter, Tab or click an item. The request is written into the box for you, and nothing is sent.
  4. Read it, finish the part at the end if it needs one (a product name, an amount, a topic), and press Enter to send.

Press Escape to close the list and clear the slash.

Which quick actions are there?

TypeActionWhat BOBO does
/summaryWeekly performance summarySums up the week and says what to do next
/low-stockLow-stock alertSets up a daily check for products below 5 units
/descriptionsSEO product descriptionWrites a description for the product you name
/socialSocial media postsWrites three short Instagram posts with hashtags for the product you name
/couponDiscount couponStarts a coupon request you finish with the amount
/campaignEmail campaign draftStarts a draft you finish with the topic
/shippingShipping settings checkReviews your shipping zones and rates for gaps
/collectionsOrganize categoriesProposes a category structure and a plan you approve
/pricingPricing strategyReviews your prices and suggests ways to sell more
/setupWhat is left before I can sellChecks your store setup (see below)
/photoNew product from a photoOpens the file picker so you can attach a photo, then starts a product from it

Five of them (/descriptions, /social, /coupon, /campaign, /photo) end with an open part for you to fill in, such as the product name, the amount or the topic. The others are complete as written.

A quick action is only a shortcut for writing the request. Anything that changes your store still shows an approval card first, exactly as if you had typed it yourself.

The suggestion chips in an empty chat

A new, empty BOBO chat shows three suggestion chips that depend on the page you opened it from. Click one and it is sent as your question. For example, on the Orders page: "Which orders are waiting to ship?", "Are any orders stuck or have a payment problem?" and "How was revenue this week?". Products, Inventory, Customers, Coupons and Discount rules, Shipping and Assets (the media library) each have their own three; any other page shows the store-wide three ("Give me a quick overview of the store", "How was revenue this week?", "What should I focus on today?").

What does the ready-to-sell check cover?

Ask "What is left before I can sell?" and BOBO checks the same six items as the Ready to sell button on your dashboard, so the two always agree: connecting your storefront, a payment provider, shipping, tax, a business address for marketing email, and your first product. It tells you how many are done, which required ones are missing, and what BOBO can set up for you from the chat (a shipping zone and its rates, a tax rate, the first product).

BOBO cannot connect your storefront or a payment provider from the chat. Those are done in the dashboard, and BOBO tells you where.
