Schedules, what BOBO can run on its own

What you can ask BOBO to do on a schedule, how often, what it will refuse, why a run was skipped, and where the result goes.

A schedule tells BOBO to do something later, once or on repeat: send you a weekly sales report, remind you to review draft products, check low stock every morning, or add a tag to a category every Friday. You create one by asking in the AI assistant, for example "every Monday at 9 prepare my weekly sales summary". BOBO shows you what it will schedule and when it will first run, and nothing is saved until you approve.

You manage schedules in BOBO's settings page: click BOBO's name at the top of the AI panel, then Schedules.

How often can a schedule run

At most once an hour. Every run is a full AI turn that uses AI credits, so BOBO refuses "every minute" and "every 5 minutes". If you ask for those, BOBO tells you so and offers an hourly check, a daily check, or asking it on demand ("any new orders?") instead.

A store can have up to 25 schedules. To add another, pause or delete one first.

Which repeat patterns work

These work: once at a date and time, every day, every weekday, specific days of the week, twice a day, on a day of the month, the last day of every month, and every 3 months.

"Weekdays" follows your wording. In English, "every weekday" means Monday to Friday. In Hebrew, "ימי עבודה" means Sunday to Thursday.

Repeat patterns that do not work

BOBO will say so instead of quietly picking something else:

  • Every other week, or every 3 weeks.
  • Every other month.
  • The first, second or last Monday of the month (any weekday of the month).
  • A date range or "except holidays".

For these, BOBO offers the closest exact options: weekly on a fixed day, or a reminder for each specific date you give it.

What a schedule will not do

A scheduled run happens while you are not there, so it cannot do anything that needs your "yes" at that moment. BOBO will refuse to schedule these and offer a reminder instead:

  • Delete anything, such as "delete all draft products every night".
  • Cancel orders.
  • Send emails to your customers, including discount codes by email.
  • Spend money, such as ads or paid AI image generation.

A scheduled run can read your data and report on it, and it can make ordinary reversible changes such as adding a tag or changing a status.

BOBO also cannot run a schedule when something happens ("when a product sells out"). It offers a periodic check instead, for example every hour, and says that it is a check and not an instant alert.

Where does the result go

A scheduled run posts its result into your AI assistant conversation list, with a title that starts with [Scheduled]. There is no email, no mobile push and no dashboard notification when a run finishes, so open the AI assistant to read it.

Pause, resume, run now and delete

  • Pause stops the schedule and keeps it. Resume starts it again.
  • Run now runs it once immediately. It is not available while the schedule is paused.
  • Delete removes the schedule for good. It cannot be resumed.

Why a run shows as failed or skipped

The Schedules section shows the reason in plain words:

  • No AI credits left. The run was skipped and nothing ran. Runs resume when your credits renew or you add more. See AI credits.
  • The run finished without changing anything in the store. For a schedule that is meant to change something (add a tag, change a price), this means it did not work.
  • The run finished without producing a report. For a report or reminder, BOBO did not write one.

A schedule that only reports or reminds is counted as successful when BOBO wrote its answer. It does not need to change anything.
