What AI credits are, what each AI feature costs, and how to top up.
Brainerce's AI features run on credits. Every plan includes a monthly allowance, and on a paid plan you can buy more any time. This guide explains what uses credits and how to keep topped up.

What uses credits
Most everyday AI actions cost about 1 credit. Image and video generation cost more because they're heavier to run. The figures below are typical: the actual charge is based on the real cost of each request, so a long or complex one (for example, a multi-step assistant chat) can use a little more.

Background helper steps the assistant runs on its own don't cost anything.
Your storefront support bot draws from the same monthly pool as your dashboard assistant. On a busy storefront that can use up your allowance, so keep an eye on your balance, or top up.
Where to see your balance
- Dashboard header. The credit indicator (⚡) shows your remaining balance at a glance.
- Settings → Billing. The Usage this cycle card shows credits used vs. your limit and when they reset.
Buy more credits
On a paid plan you can top up any time, and purchased credits don't expire while your subscription is active.
Only the account owner can buy credits. A Manager has no Settings → Billing entry in their menu at all, so there is nowhere for them to buy a pack, and there is no permission you can grant to add it. Credits must be bought by the account owner.

Auto top-up
Buying packs by hand works until you run out mid-task. Auto top-up, in the same Buy Credits dialog, does it for you:
- a master switch to turn it on,
- a pack size to buy each time: 50, 100, or 200 credits,
- a threshold: when your balance drops below this, the pack is purchased automatically.
The charge goes to your saved card without you being present, so treat the threshold as a budget decision rather than a convenience one. Turn it off and you simply go back to buying packs yourself.
